Engineered for excellence in Rotterdam’s maritime and Eindhoven’s high-tech corridors.
Established in May 2017, Sichuan Kepai New Materials Co., Ltd. is a premier high-tech enterprise dedicated to the R&D, production, and sales of high-conductivity, high-strength special copper alloys. With a footprint of over 29,000 square meters, we serve over 1,000 global clients, providing specialized solutions that bridge the gap between material science and industrial application.
For our Dutch partners, we provide a sophisticated supply chain that meets the rigorous standards of the European Union, including full compliance with REACH and RoHS regulations, ensuring that our lead bronze and copper products are not only high-performing but also sustainable and ethically sourced.
Strategic Material Supply for Europe's Logistic and High-Tech Hub
The Netherlands, home to the Port of Rotterdam, is a global leader in maritime engineering. Lead bronze (especially high-leaded tin bronze like C93200) is critical for ship engine bearings, thrusters, and deck machinery. Our materials offer superior anti-friction properties essential for heavy-load, low-speed maritime environments.
In the Brainport Eindhoven region, the demand for precision-engineered components is immense. Lead bronze serves as a reliable substrate for components requiring high machinability and natural lubricity, supporting the semiconductor and automotive manufacturing chains that define the Dutch tech landscape.
Dutch wind energy projects in the North Sea require components that can withstand corrosive salt spray and extreme mechanical stress. Our specialized bronze alloys are tested for long-cycle reliability in turbine gearbox assemblies and pitch control systems.
Operating within the Netherlands requires strict adherence to EU environmental mandates. Kepai ensures that all leaded bronze exports are accompanied by detailed material safety data sheets (MSDS) and certificates of conformity to facilitate smooth customs clearance and regulatory alignment.
Why Lead Bronze remains the gold standard for heavy-duty industrial friction management.
Lead bronze is a specialized alloy where lead is practically insoluble in the copper-tin matrix. During solidification, lead forms as small, discrete globules throughout the microstructure. This unique metallurgical phenomenon provides what we call "emergency running properties." Should the primary lubrication film fail, the lead globules smear over the surface, preventing catastrophic seizing of the machinery.
C93200 (SAE 660), the most prevalent grade for Dutch industrial maintenance, offers a perfect balance of strength and hardness. For more aggressive environments, such as deep-sea dredging or heavy hydraulic presses used in Dutch shipyards, C93700 (High-Leaded Tin Bronze) provides even greater lubricity and wear resistance.
Our manufacturing process utilizes continuous casting and centrifugal casting techniques to ensure a uniform distribution of lead. This eliminates hard spots and porosity, which are common failures in lower-quality sand castings. For the Dutch manufacturer, this means longer service intervals and reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Furthermore, we are actively researching lead-free alternatives to stay ahead of future EU REACH restrictions. By experimenting with bismuth and silicon-based bronzes, Kepai is positioning itself as a future-proof supplier for the Netherlands' next generation of sustainable industrial machinery.
Streamlined Procurement for International Manufacturers
We offer specialized logistics for the Netherlands, utilizing Air Freight to Schiphol for urgent prototypes or Sea Freight to Rotterdam for bulk production orders. Our DAP/DDP service options simplify your import process.
Every shipment to the Netherlands undergoes multi-stage testing, including Spectrographic Analysis, Tensile Testing, and Brinell Hardness verification, ensuring 100% adherence to NEN/DIN standards.
Not just raw materials—we provide semi-finished bushings, wear plates, and complex CNC-machined components tailored specifically to Dutch engineering blueprints (AutoCAD/SolidWorks compatible).
